Newborns
It's no secret, I love babies. I've photographed hundreds of little babes since 2019. With extensive training I pride myself in creating a beautiful gallery full of images you can cherish forever. But for me, it's more than just taking photos. My favorite part of a newborn session is listening to a mother's journey and seeing a family LOVE their little one, not only can you see the connection in my photos, but you can feel it too.

FAQ
How long have you been photographing newborns?
I did my very first newborn in 2019, and couldn't stop. To this day, I've photographed about 350 babies.
Do you have any training?
Yes! I have both Posing and safety training. I am CPR certified, and have participated in countless in person training events, as well as continue to grow my education online every year.
Do you have a studio?
Yes, my very own! My studio is located on Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls, right next to moon are tattoo. It is both a natural light studio as well as studio light! It has a shooting area as well as a relaxing area, full of refreshments and snacks!
Do you provide props or outfits?
I have a ton of props (too many)j, along with wraps, newborn outfits, accessories, and a small amount of toddler outfits! I also have an optional client closet for moms! You honestly don't need to bring anything except you and babe!
How long do sessions last?
I pride myself in taking 2-2.5 hours! Obviously that varies from baby to baby, but I work efficiently. If you have a sibling joining you, sometimes it works best to drive separate from dad incase the kids get antsy, however they are welcome to stay!
What does a session look like?
Upon arrival, I will check if baby needs anything before I start. I start with "beanbag" poses, with baby unwrapped. Then I move to the family portion. I will capture mom and dad with baby, sibling shots, and individual shots with babes. I may throw in some very relaxed lifestyle poses of babe after, and finally we end with props. It sounds like a lot, but there is a method to my madness.
What if baby is not settled?
I read the cues of baby, and allow plenty of time for babe to eat, get diaper changes, and be soothed. If babe is still not having it, I will adjust my poses to fit babies needs.
How long do photos take to get back?
photos will be delivered within 2-4 weeks via an online gallery, after I have edited and smoothed skin!
